To Our Loved One
Life has happiness, joy and sorrow
But never promises about tomorrow
your smile, laugh and loving touch
A happiness you gave no one can touch

Life is unfair when it takes anyone
These words you will hear flowing
from every tongue
We all sit and ask

good must die.

It is Hard to let go of the ones we love
We must remember they are with God above
You have now taken your place with the best
Our loving God and Eternal rest.

Dear club members and guests,
On Friday May 1, 2015 in the 8pm hour Pamela Stacy passed on.  She battled her illness very hard for a very long time.  Scott did his very best to give Pam her every last wish.  She was at home when she passed which is where she wanted to be, with Scott and the Girls.  Please join the Antelope Valley Four Wheelers this Saturday to celebrate Pam's life.  Check the calendar for the time and place of her celebration.

Here is an email from Brian Brown who has been a guest with us.  This has to do with the tire round up that he spoke about on the last run.  Contact Brian for any information.

Brian,

I got confirmation that I could drop off a large quantity of tires so here is the deal...

I ill be going out every saturday gathering tires with my truck and trailer over here in the ne area of the av...(except sat, mar 29th)

basically, lake la to the north and east to the county line...

i think a 4 man crew would be best...

a driver
a picture taker
and a laborer
and me, a laborer

i got 115 tires by myself in 3.5 hours so it will go pretty fast...and even faster if I dont have to park the truck, shut it uff, set the brake, ect...you get the idea...

if others want to set something up in their neighborhoods then the info is here:
http://dpw.lacounty.gov/epd/tirerecycling/collection.cfm

thanks,

Brian

The Antelope Valley Four Wheelers would like to invite you to attend our annual summer Saturday Night Run on Saturday July 21, 2012.  We will meet in downtown Leona Valley at 6:30pm.  Meeting place will be the Ranchers Market/Gas Station at Lake Elizabeth Road and 90th Street West.  We will depart around 7:00pm from the market and traveling down Bouquet Canyon Road to the 2 wheel drive Quarry Road/Del Sur Road turn off.  This section is a 2 wheel drive dirt road to the top of Del Sur Ridge.  We will then travel the 4 wheel drive Deer Peak Trail to House Trail which is also 4 wheel drive to the DWP maintenance road heading south to the 4 wheel drive Drinkwater Flats Trail ending at the Drinkwater staging area on San Francisquito Canyon Road around 11:00pm.  Unfortunately this run is not recommended for novice/inexperienced off roaders.  There are some rough trail conditions.  Please RSVP for this run and keep checking back here on the web site for any updated information.

Let us know if you are planning to go on this run.  We are trying to get a good count of vehicles and also are trying to figure out a general meeting spot.

Mojave Trail
Before we leave for this trip I would like to have all lug nut sizes for anybody who is going.  I plan on bringing a impact gun and I just want to make a tire change go faster should we have any problems.

Mojave Trail
With 9 months to go,  we have 4 to 6 vehicles confirmed with a couple on the fence.  Good weather or bad it will be a phenomenal run.  Keep your eyes on the website for updates.

Mojave Trail
With less than 11 months before we are on Mojave Road, the vehicle limit is not to exceed 20 vehicles.  Early RSVP is recommended as not to run into issues with the area management.
